Materials:

• 200g glutinous rice flour
  
• 100ml water
  
• 125cc your favourite fillings (e.g., chocolate, red bean paste, black sesame paste, crushed peanut paste)

 
Preparing the dough:

1. Combine the glutinous rice flour with 100 ml water
2. Mix well with chopsticks
3. Knead the dough until smooth
4. Flour the board
5. Roll the dough into a long stick
6. Divide it into 12 balls of about 3-4 cm each

 
Filling up Tang Yuan:

1. Work with your thumb and turn the dough into a bowl shape
2. Place about one tablespoon of your favourite filling in
3. Close up and gently roll into a ball

 
Cooking Tang Yuan:

1. Add Tang Yuan into a pot of boiling water from the side
2. Stir gently (to prevent it sticking to the bottom)
3. Cook for 6-8 minutes until they float
